Meter Matters

Once Auto-Rickshaws Used to have Meters.The Meter had several Features and It Was used to  show Distance Covered,there were estimated Fare for Per Km Travel and based on it the meter would show the Fare .The Rates of Per Km Fare Gets Revised Periodically and the last revised fare was 14 Rs Per Km in 2007, according to  my knowledge But The Meters Have got reduced in number time to time.

Yes!!Even These Days You Would Find Meters In Autos ,But Do They Really Follow The Guidelines ?? How Many of us Can Find a Meter Maintained in a Proper Condition ? Or Working?? Meters are Found In some , Just for Name Sake..

These Days The Drivers have their own Fare .In Some Auto's You Travel from one place to  Another, You Would Find Wallet Empty on the Other Hand There are few who have a Acceptable fare..Why This difference? The A And B Here Travel to  same Place,Same Route , But Imagine, A is Charged 100 rs whereas B charged 70 rs... Now Who Is Right or Wrong ??? But Imagine whatif they had Meter, Both A and B Would have been Charged The Same..

I m not Saying its Wrong, But Mostly Middle Class People Travel In Auto-Rickshaw and they have to  manage the expenses , they have their own budgets and they cant afford more for their Transportation , And Noone Wants to Spend too much of their money on transportation ..Yes, Even Auto Rickshaw Drivers's Income Depends on it, But When you Charge Which they can afford, you will get lots of Passengers.. Its Always Good to  Charge Normal , Rather than asking too much and Missing the Passengers..

According to  Times of India, Meters have been Missing /Decreasing Since 1998 in Chennai .. So Their Initiative is to  Bring Back the Meter System Again In Auto-Rickshaw and Yes,By This Both Public and Auto-Rickshaw Drivers would be benefited..So The Initiative is a Eye-Opener for everyone and Lets Join for this Initiative for the betterment of the Society ...

Now Public has been Requested for Fare Charge For Per Km By The Concerned Department and If It Matches Their Fare Rates, It is said to be Announced soon ...Meter's Missing??? A Times Of India Initiative

Kaatrai Konjum is a Beautiful Track Sung by Karthik and Reminds of Typical Raja Sir Songs.Mudhal Murai Seems to be a little Jazzy Song .Pengal Yendral By Yuvan will be one of the finest song in the album and beautifully composed.Pudikale Mamu is one of my favourites,a peppy song ,suraj and karthik had sung this beautifully, a song based on Youngsters .saayndhu saayndhu travels slowly and Yuvan's voice is always treat to  hear.sattru munbu and vaanam mella are also good and Yennoda vaa vaa is super :)

Overall It Reminds Us 80's Songs Of Raja Sir which we had enjoyed...
